I was sent over to Emergency Room from the RH Urgent Care for more detailed testing. The only issue was the.time spent in waiting to actually be seen by an actual Dr. Or PA or nurse was too long. I think that this is the only drawback is the WAITING time before being seen. DRS. are very thorough. Karen Dietrich-Schwart

Everyone from security to the attending doc Was so kind and attentive. The place was crazy busy and they were stressed. Thank you for the great service. The lady who updates your insurance was a hoot and she was at the end of a very long shift. I was in car accident and she made me laugh. Thank you!

From the moment I arrived in the Emergency Room my nurse (Tina) was amazing she really was on point and it was an emergency situation and she took excellent care of me. I was admitted and was in pain and so sick the second floor couldn’t have did more Joseph the night supervisor and Marissa went above and beyond for me. I thank everyone there for helping me and understanding me. It’s difficult when you are sick and not home but they truly care about me. Thank you to the emergency department and the Second Floor.

My experience was a good one once I was taken back to the Emergency Room and later admitted. Food, patient care, transport, testing were all good experiences. Everone one was kind and informative. The only complaint is the waiting time in the waiting room!

The staff who conducted my echocardiogram stress test were awesome. Mary, Tina, Katrell and others whose name I forgot were professional and personable. I highly recommend Reading Hospital should you ever need one.

I'm giving them a 3.5 cause of certain foods. The nurses I had were wonderful....so friendly and nice. Treat them good as you would to be. Treat them well. Always say please and thank you. Some people don't get it that there's other patients the nurses have to take care of and the PCA's do a great job as well. These naysayers suck from others reviews. Just be nice and not demanding etc.

Everyone that has cared for me have been absolutely 100% wonderful. Specially having the patience to deal with my tiny hidden vanes and my huge fear of needles. I have been trusting my care to the W. Reading hospital foe the past 25 years, and as long as they are giving care I will remain a loyal Patient. My kids where born there, even my grandbabies the care and nurture of the Reading hospital is #1..!!!!! Thank you!!!!

I went to Reading Hospital’s ER after a serious accident where my horse fell on top of me while we were jumping. I was taken back immediately with no wait time. While I was in the ER, I had the best nurse ever she was in my room for such a long time taking the best care of me! She was so kind, gentle, and funny too! Then I was moved up to the trauma floor of the hospital. The doctors were so compassionate and kind and came to check on me often. The nurses and nurse assistants were absolutely amazing, incredibly understanding, and did everything they could to make me as comfortable as possible. The trauma unit room I was in was absolutely beautiful, newly renovated, big tv, comfy chairs for visitors, a huge window with a beautiful view and spotless. They also had holiday music playing quietly in the background on the whole floor which was a very nice touch as I was in a neck brace laying completely flat only able to see the ceiling lol!! Everyone was truly caring and made a really scary and painful experience so much easier. I can’t recommend them enough!

The cardiology department at Reading Hospital provided exceptional care after my surgery. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported, informed, and comfortable. The doctors and nurses were not only highly skilled but also genuinely kind and reassuring, which made a stressful experience much easier. Their communication, professionalism, and compassion truly stood out. I’m incredibly thankful for the care I received and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this department to others.

Just a note of thanks for the exceptional care my dad received from the time he arrived in the ER 2/19/26 through his stay on the first floor in C113. Dr. Wynn who admitted him and Dr. Young who managed his care were very caring and attentive. He had excellent nursing care from Rosa, Charge Nurse Jackie, Mary and Kristen. Hospice RN Tracy was compassionate and supportive. The care was top-notch all around. The kindness, care and support my dad, myself and our family received will never be forgotten. My best, Kim
